  • Mid-June to early July – Board members interviewed by HYA; superintendent leadership profile developed

  • July 15 – Position advertised and promoted by HYA (job posting link)

  • August 18 to September 12 – Online survey open for community and stakeholder input

  • Late August to early September – Focus groups and interviews conducted with key constituent groups

  • Week of October 20 – Board reviews applicants and selects semi-finalists

  • Week of November 3 – Board interviews semi-finalists and identifies finalists

  • Week of December 1 – Finalist interviews and superintendent selection

  • Week of December 8 – Contract negotiations

  • Week of December 15 – Targeted announcement of new superintendent

Superintendent Search Community Engagement and Leadership Profile Report: 

During August and September 2025, the HYA Associates conducted focus groups, interviews, and community forums. The online survey was available to stakeholders from August 18 through September 12 and provided an additional avenue for stakeholders to participate in the process of determining key attributes of the district and the desired qualifications and characteristics for the next superintendent.
