Mark Metzger is in his fifth four-year term, after first being elected in 1991. He served as secretary from 1993-1995 and 2001-2003. And he has served as president in 1995, 1997-1999, and 2007-present.

Mark attended Bellville Township High School West. He earned his bachelor's degree at Illinois Wesleyan and his Juris doctorate from Southern Illinois University. His term will expire in April of 2011.

John Stephens, a life-long Naperville resident, was elected to his first term on the school board in April 2005. John graduated from Naperville Central High School and went on to attend Iowa State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics. He is currently employed as an applications sales manager for Oracle Corporation in Chicago.

John was a member of the district's Citizens Advisory Committee that convened in the fall of 2004 to review secondary space needs. He has also volunteered his time for Waubonsie Valley High School, serving as the editor of the school's "Partners" newsletter. Outside of Indian Prairie, John has served as vice president of the Brighton Ridge Homeowners Association and participated in the DePauw University Parents Committee. His term will expire in 2009.

Jeannette Clark is a life-long resident of the Chicago area and has lived in District 204 since 1987. She graduated from Morton West High School in Berwyn. She earned an associate of arts degree in human services at Morton College and continued her undergraduate studies at George Williams College. She was first elected to the Board in 1993, and was re-elected in 1997, 2001, and 2005. Her term expires in April of 2009.

Curt Bradshaw, a 20-year District 204 resident, was appointed to fill an unexpired term in June 2005. The community then first elected Curt to the Board in 2007. As an Indian Prairie Alumnus, he brings a valuable perspective to the board.

Upon graduating from Hill Middle School and Waubonsie Valley High School, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois. Later, he graduated first in his class with an MBA in finance and strategic management from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Curt is currently employed as Vice President of Global Product Development for Morgan Stanley in Oakbrook Terrace. His term will expire in 2011.

Alka Tyle

Alka Tyle was appointed to the Board in May 2006, and the community elected her to serve a first full term in 2007.

She is a Naperville resident with children enrolled at Spring Brook Elementary and Neuqua Valley High School. She volunteers at both schools and is currently a member of the Spring Brook PTA. Tyle holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Melbourne in Australia and a master's degree in computer science from Rutgers University. She has lived in, worked in, and visited over a dozen countries, including India, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Her term will expire in April 2011.

Christine Vickers was elected to her first term as a board member in April 2005. The Aurora resident has been an active volunteer in Indian Prairie, serving as vice president of the Parent Teacher Associations of both Still Middle School and McCarty Elementary School. Christine was also a member of the 2004 Citizens Advisory Committee that reviewed the district's need for more space at the middle and high schools.

Christine's volunteer work extends beyond District 204, as she has served as president of the Laurel Ridge Homeowners Association since 2003. She will continue to maintain her position as a representative of the homeowner's association on the City of Aurora's Ward 10 Committee, of which she has been a member since 2003.

She is currently employed as an IT administrator and paralegal for the Chicago law firm of Wiedner & McAuliffe, Ltd. Her term expires in 2009.
